• your bookings, treatment history and preferences;
• payment and transaction details (card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us);
• messages, reviews and enquiries;
• information you choose to share about allergies, sensitivities or skin and nail conditions so treatments can be carried out safely;
• your marketing choices; and
• technical information such as your device, browser, pages viewed and cookie choices.
How we use your information
We use it to manage your bookings and account, take payments and deposits, send confirmations and reminders, answer enquiries, keep you safe during treatments, improve our services, keep business and tax records, and send marketing only where you have agreed. We rely on contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and, where appropriate, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share information with
We share only what is needed with trusted providers such as Wix and Wix Bookings, payment processors, email and text providers, booking partners you choose to use (such as Treatwell), our accountants and advisers, and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Only as long as necessary. Booking and payment records linked to tax and accounts may be kept for up to six years. General enquiries are deleted sooner, and marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use (including marketing), receive a copy, or withdraw consent. Email hello@nailsbydlband.co.uk to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
